The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine supports the right of all individuals to access the full spectrum of reproductive health services, including abortion care. The majority of Americans support access to abortion care, according to research conducted in the aftermath of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. Despite this, anti-abortion activists and policymakers continue to erode access to this important healthcare.
